Largely self taught, Caplan Rawley has worked as a professional studio artist for over 30 years and continues to study with artists whose work she follows and admires.
Born in Mexico City of European parents, the work she produces reflects her background, history, influences and values, demonstrated primarily via sculptures in bronze, clay and mixed media.
She has juried competitions, taught, lectured and demonstrated in workshops throughout the US, Mexico and Canada.
She has been the subject of features and interviews in print and broadcast media.
Caplan Rawley's work is in private, corporate and public collection in the United States, Mexico, Canada, New Zealand, Japan and Europe.
