This blog focuses on the power of art in the lives of Sylvia Caplan Rawley, her mother, and her son, all artists. Sylvia is a sculptor, her mother a painter, and her son is a photographer.
Their work will be shown at the Live Oak Art Center in Columbus, Texas, from Saturday, January 19, through Saturday, March 2, 2013 in an exhibit entitled Three Generations of Art: Davis + Rawley + Caplan.
Artwork by each artist is followed by a brief quiz. You'll be asked to respond to the questions. The information gathered from your responses will play a role in evaluating my graduate school project, which intends to help people talk about art to enrich their relationships.
